Gemino Healthcare Finance hires Mark Buren as Mid-Atlantic region BDO
Gemino Healthcare Finance announced that Mark Buren has joined the company as a business development officer, responsible for loan origination in the Mid-Atlantic region. He will be based in Baltimore.Mark O’Brien, vice president of sales and marketing, said, “We are very pleased to welcome Mark Buren to the Gemino team. His extensive lending experience and knowledge of the Mid-Atlantic market will be invaluable as we continue to execute Gemino’s growth strategy in the healthcare lending industry.”
Buren has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, most recently as vice president of business development for Merrill Lynch Capital Healthcare Finance. Buren also served in various business development roles with CIT Business Credit, First Union Capital Markets and Maryland National Bank.
Buren earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Towson State University and a MBA from the University of Baltimore. He is also a member of the Commercial Finance Association and the Association for Corporate Growth.
