Chief Executive Officer
One of the founders of Gemino Healthcare Finance, Mike is responsible for the strategic direction and growth of the company. An industry veteran with over 17 years’ experience in healthcare finance and consulting, he has served as Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Operations for two healthcare lending businesses. Most recently, Mike managed Healthcare Business Credit Corporation's loan portfolio from 2001 to 2005 (prior to the company’s sale to CIT Corporation).
During his tenure at HBCC, the loan portfolio grew from over $130 million to over $580 million in outstanding loans with no credit losses. Subsequently, Mike developed a successful healthcare consulting practice that provided services ranging from restructuring and liquidating loan portfolios to performing due diligence on prospective clients. He received a Bachelor of Science from Valparaiso University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
